Enabling QR code with Multifactor of Biometrics Components to Provide Better Security in Transactions

Abstract

In cash transactions, there is a risk of QR code duplication, despite the QR code being an authentication tool. To improve security and prevent duplication, multiple security factors can be embedded with the QR code. This paper discusses the effects of a weak QR code and recommends a biometric component-based QR code that incorporates user DNA, Iris, Multi finger consideration for authentication.These biometric components are merged as a pattern and integrated into the QR code pattern to ensure secure transactions.
