Abstract

This research aims to examine the influence of professionalism and perceived organizational support on personnel performance mediated by work ethic. The research object is the police at the Kendari Police. The research population was 894. The sample size used the Slovin formula with a precision of 5%, so the research sample was 276 respondents. Data collection used a questionnaire with a Likert scale.The research model is structural so the research data is analyzed using Smart PLS. The research results show that professionalism and perceived support organization have a positive and significant effect on work ethic, professionalism and perceived support organization have a positive and significant effect on personnel performance both directly and mediated by work ethic. In this way, work ethic acts as a partial mediation between professionalism and perceived organizational support on personnel performance.
