For research offices, the immediate task is to separate temporary federal constraints from award-specific decisions that still depend on each Notice of Award.
NSF’s GEO Core solicitation, NSF 26-516, now governs core geoscience proposal routing after an announced Sept. 25, 2026 transition window for legacy opportunities. The records support workflow changes, but not independent confirmation that every legacy page had been archived by Sept. 27, 2026.
